🚢 The Fleet Roster (10 Ships, 20 Segments)

Every admiral commands ten naval vessels across the 10x10 ocean grid:

1 x Aircraft Carrier (4 Segments): The capital ship of your fleet, providing massive presence across four grid squares.

2 x Battleships (3 Segments each): Heavy frontline warships requiring three direct hits to neutralize.

3 x Submarines (2 Segments each): Stealth underwater vessels occupying two grid squares.

4 x Patrol Boats (1 Segment each): Fast single-square scout boats—small and elusive, providing a crucial late-game advantage!

📏 Essential Sea Battle Rules

The 1-Square Buffer Rule: Ships may not touch each other on the grid, not even diagonally! There must always be at least one empty square between ships.

Auto-Mark Surrounding Water: When an enemy vessel is sunk, all surrounding water squares are automatically marked as misses, saving you unnecessary clicks!

Hit = Shoot Again!: Whenever you land a direct hit or sink an enemy vessel, you immediately earn an extra shot! The turn only passes to the opponent when a shot misses.

🎮 How to Play

1. Instant Setup: Your 10 ships are pre-deployed on your board when the game loads. Click Randomize for a fresh layout, or click any ship on your board to rotate it 90 degrees.

2. Start Game: Click the green Start Game ⚔️ button to commence the battle.

3. Fire at Enemy Ships: Click unexplored coordinates on the opponent's grid. Hits let you fire again!

4. Victory: Sink all 10 enemy ships before the opponent sinks yours to win!
